With an innovative entrepreneurial spirit, a keen eye for fashion and a warm personality, Susan J. Ashbrook blazed a trail for celebrity product placement. Ms. Ashbrook pioneered and founded – Film Fashion – a groundbreaking agency that paired celebrities with designers and fashion brands to gain media coverage. With Ralph Lauren as her first client, Susan has worked with big name brands like Lanvin, Kenneth Cole, Swarovski, Herve Leger, Zuhair Murad, Chopard and Harry Winston.
In 2012 Ms. Ashbrook sold Film Fashion to Interpublic Group and later wrote her first book, Will Work for Shoes – The Business Behind Red Carpet Product Placement which details the art and business of red carpet marketing.
She is passionate about sharing her expertise and teaching others how use celebrity product placement to boost brand awareness. Ashbrook most recently has worked with brands Herve L Leroux, Basler, Jay Godfrey, Imposter faux fur, Kevin Hall Sport and baby brand Angels On My Pillow.
