The APR opens doors.
April is APR Month, and as a PRSA member who has earned the right to place this true mark of distinction after their name, you know well that it signifies to employers and the communications community that you possess the knowledge, skills and abilities to succeed as a public relations professional.
I found studying and preparing for the exam to be an enjoyable and invaluable process that grounded me in the principles we apply in our jobs every day, including ethical behavior, research, evaluation, strategic thinking and everything in between. The APR also reconfirms your career accomplishments and shows younger professionals and mentees that continued professional development is integral to success.
APR Month provides a great opportunity for us to recognize your important career achievement and to thank you for your commitment and continued service to PRSA, as well as encourage others to take advantage of a program that provides deep knowledge of the public relations profession and yes, opens doors for rewarding opportunities and experiences throughout your career.
