PRSA Hawaii chapter honors local communications professionals at the 2021 Koa Anvil Awards

Anthology Group wins ‘Best of Show’ for Rent Relief and Housing Assistance Program on behalf of the State of Hawaii

The Hawaii chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA Hawaii) celebrated the best in the state’s public relations industry at the 38th Annual Koa Anvil Awards ceremony held on July 28, 2021.

This year PRSA Hawaii recognized public relations and marketing professionals in two main categories, judged by the PRSA-Los Angeles chapter:

  • Koa Anvil Awards for outstanding public relations programs and campaigns; and
  • Koa Hammer Awards for tactics that are part of a communications campaign.

Becker Communications received the 2021 MVPr Award, bestowed to the organization with the most award-winning entries. The local PR agency received 20 of the 55 awards in various categories.

The coveted Best of Show award, which recognizes the campaign that received the highest score in the Anvil category, went to Anthology Group for its entry titled “Rent Relief and Housing Assistance Program,” submitted on behalf of the State of Hawaii in the category of Public Service: Government.

PRSA Hawaii also honored both 2021 and 2020 industry leaders within the public relations field at the in-person event:
